Everyone is welcome to come and join in.
Also, same place, same day, Bournemouth residents, who bring their current council tax bill, will be able to get their compost on a first-come first-served basis from the car park on Ensbury Avenue next to the community centre at Slades Farm from 09:00 until 1.00pm or when the compost runs out, whichever comes first. (In previous years, the compost has all gone by mid-morning!)
Residents will also need to bring their own bags or containers totalling no more than 70 litres for collecting the compost.
Bournemouth Council’s grand give-away is a as a big ‘thank you’ for residents’ efforts in recycling their garden waste.
